Our Story

Founded by a Trader Who Couldn't Find Free Elliott Wave Education

Every time our founder opened a search for Elliott Wave analysis, the result was the same — a paywall. Want the wave count for Bitcoin? Subscribe. Want Fibonacci levels for EUR/USD? Subscribe. Want to understand whether Gold is in Wave 3 or Wave 4? Subscribe. The free content that did exist was scattered across forums, disconnected from live charts, and rarely updated.

The frustration was not about the cost. It was about the gap. Live chart platforms existed. Free market data existed. Elliott Wave theory was a century old and publicly documented. But nowhere combined all three into a single, free, multi-market resource that a trader could actually open and use.

"I spent months looking for a free platform that combined live charts with actual Elliott Wave context. It didn't exist. So I built it." — SmartWave Analysis, Founder

SmartWave Analysis launched with one purpose: to give traders at every level a free starting point for Elliott Wave analysis across every major market. No paywall for the charts. No paywall for the education. No paywall for the Fibonacci levels. When a reader is ready for detailed wave counts with specific entry targets and daily updates, we point them toward the professional services that provide exactly that — but the foundation is always free here.

What We Cover

6 Asset Classes — One Free Platform

Most free chart sites cover one or two markets. SmartWave Analysis covers all six major asset classes — because Elliott Wave is fractal and inter-market relationships matter. Bitcoin's wave position affects altcoins. The S&P 500's wave degree affects individual stocks. Gold's structure informs the macro risk picture. Seeing all of them in one place changes how you read each one individually.

How We Analyze

Three Things We Never Skip

Elliott Wave analysis is probabilistic — not predictive. Every wave count we publish follows the same three-step discipline. These are not guidelines we follow when it is convenient. They are non-negotiable parts of every analysis we produce.

01
Price Structure First — Always
Wave counts emerge from what price actually does — not from what we want it to do. We never start with a directional bias and label a chart to fit it. Every count begins with the largest clear structure visible on the Weekly chart and works down from there. If the structure is not clean enough to count with confidence, we say so.
02
Fibonacci Confirmation on Every Label
Every wave label on SmartWave Analysis is cross-checked against Fibonacci retracement and extension levels. A Wave 2 that does not align with any Fibonacci level is a wave label that deserves a second look. We publish the specific levels that confirm each count and the ones that would challenge it — so you can verify the work yourself on the live chart.
03
Invalidation Level on Every Count
Every wave count we publish includes a structural invalidation level — the exact price at which the preferred count is no longer valid. We do not publish wave counts without one. When price reaches an invalidation level, we reassess without defending the old count. The discipline to switch without hesitation when proven wrong is what separates useful wave analysis from noise.
How We're Different

What Most Elliott Wave Sites Get Wrong

The Elliott Wave space has two extremes. On one side, paywalled services with detailed analysis but no free access. On the other, free chart sites with no Elliott Wave context at all. SmartWave Analysis sits in the middle — free charts combined with real wave education, Fibonacci context and instrument-level analysis across all six major asset classes.

The table shows where we differ from typical paid-only Elliott Wave services and from standard free chart platforms. We are not trying to replace professional analysis — we are filling the gap that exists before you need it.

Free Charts Are the Starting Point — Not the End Point

SmartWave Analysis gives you the wave framework, the Fibonacci levels, the invalidation context and the live chart to work with. That is enough for a serious trader to build their own read on any instrument we cover.

But there is a level of detail that falls outside what a free platform can maintain — specific price targets updated as each sub-wave develops, exact entry and stop levels for active traders, and daily revised counts across 78+ markets. That is where professional Elliott Wave analysis services come in.

For traders who want that next layer of depth, we point to services with a long track record of structured, methodology-driven analysis. The most established name in the space has been applying the Wave Principle to financial markets for over 40 years — and their work goes well beyond what any chart page can replicate.

For Deeper Analysis

When you are ready to go beyond free charts and want specific wave targets, entry zones and daily updated counts across all major markets — professional Elliott Wave analysis is the natural next step. It covers everything this page does not, with the frequency and precision that active traders need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About SmartWave Analysis

Is SmartWave Analysis completely free?+
Yes. Everything on SmartWave Analysis is free — live charts, Elliott Wave education, instrument analysis pages, Fibonacci guides and wave count context. No account, no email address and no credit card is ever required to access anything on this site. The only things we point to that cost money are third-party professional analysis services, and those are always clearly identified.
How often is the wave analysis updated?+
We update wave counts and instrument analysis pages regularly as price action develops. When price reaches a key structural level — a Fibonacci target, a wave invalidation point or a significant breakout — we revise the count to reflect the new structure. We do not publish updates on a fixed daily schedule the way paid subscription services do, but we do revise content whenever the wave structure requires it.
Does SmartWave Analysis provide financial advice?+
No. All content on SmartWave Analysis is for educational and informational purposes only. Elliott Wave analysis gives you a probabilistic framework for reading market structure — it is not a trading signal service and nothing on this site should be treated as financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Always do your own analysis and consider consulting a qualified financial professional before making any trading decisions.
Why do you recommend professional analysis services?+
Free charts and wave education are the starting point — not the complete picture. Professional Elliott Wave services provide something a free platform cannot maintain at scale: specific price targets updated daily as each sub-wave develops, exact entry and stop levels, and revised counts across 78+ instruments every single day. When a reader is ready for that level of detail, we point to the services with the longest and most credible track record in the space.
What markets does SmartWave Analysis cover?+
SmartWave Analysis covers six asset classes with 46+ instruments: Cryptocurrency (12 pairs including BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and BNB), Forex (10 major and minor pairs via OANDA), US Stocks (10 large-cap companies on NASDAQ and NYSE), Futures and Commodities (8 instruments including Gold, Crude Oil and Natural Gas), Global Indices (8 major indices including S&P 500, DAX and Nikkei 225) and Government Bonds (6 yield instruments including US Treasuries and the German Bund).
